Morning thoughts
Run like wildfire.
The mind wanders,
Never calm.

Thousand jewels
Shining brightly,
I drift away
From here and now.

Breath flows in,
Thoughts dissolve.
Breath flows out,
I let go.

Smell of cooking,
In the morning air,
Fills my day
With love.

Strange thoughts,
From a stray mind,
Running wildly
In my head.

Sounds and figures,
Form dissolve,
I simply wish,
For silence.

(200th post, I guess I should celebrate or something )

Running
By the pale moonlight,
Under a star-filled sky,
Alone.

Mind and breath,
Step follows step.
Clear mind running
Into dawn.

Breath flows, slowly.
Mind is calmed.
I feel daylight
In my heart.

Life goes quickly,
A simple flash.
I feel the wonder,
Of being alive.

Early morning,
Grey clouds,
Cold breeze,
Silent mind.

Stray thoughts
Come and go.
Calmly breathe,
Back to now.

Quiet house aronund me,
Sound of water in the distance.
Birds sing softly out the window.
I sit and let the “now” just be.

The sound of thunder
From a summer storm,
I gently touch
And let it go.

The scent of cooking
From my mother’s kitchen,
I gently touch
And let it go.

A miriad lights reflected
On a river from my childhood,
I gently touch
And let it go.

I sit and breathe,
A simple witness
To a thousand thoughts,
And let them go.

A gentle breeze,
A flutter of leaves,
The sound of running water
In the distance.

A fleeting moment
Gone before we notice,
Our whole life,
an instant.
